Curriculum:

I tell stories that fill my heart. As much of my life has revolved around the plant and animal kingdoms, my stories are deeply rooted in the Earth.

My story repertoire includes tales from the Scottish travellers, tales from the celtic lands and stories I have created myself, inspired by animals and birds I have met. I particularly like tales of growth through adversity. I accompany my stories with songs from the Gaelic and Scots ballad traditions.

I tell to all ages, believing we can all relate to a story and we hear all too few.

I have worked from pre-school children, through to adults and special needs folk.

Story may be for fun or it may be a medicine needed for recovery from trauma. In allowing the story to create a safe distance, issues can be re-examined from different perspectives. The use of animal characters enhances this process.

I have worked for many years as a visitor in schools with my animal friends and my bees, and I enjoy bringing the children into contact with the natural world.
