C.V. / Resume:

Susan O'Halloran is one of America's top Diversity Speakers and Storytellers. Susan is author of four books and several diversity curriculums plus a producer of multi-cultural shows and films including Black, White and Brown: Tribes & Bridges at the Steppenwolf Theatre and More Alike Than Not: Stories of Three Americans " Catholic, Jewish and Muslim.

Susan grew up in a working class neighborhood on the Southwest side of Chicago during the 1950s and 60s on the white side of Chicago's color line. In high school, she became part of an interracial youth group and studied with adults who worked with Dr. King. She has been building bridges between cultures ever since.

The Chicago Reader says O'Halloran "has mastered the Irish art of telling stories that are funny and heart-wrenching at the same time." Sue's best endorsements come from her audiences: "In an entertaining way, Sue opened our minds to a much broader view of why society excludes or includes different groups and what we can do to create a more welcoming world!" Susan was a National Storytelling Network keynote speaker in 2003 and has been a featured teller at the National Storytelling Festival several times.
